Three looks, one afternoon, one story.
Rutva and Nitin booked The Editorial: three outfits each, three locations, and one of the three built as a styled shoot. The estate came first. A stone rotunda and a long flight of steps wanted something that would move against all that stillness, so hers is a gown with enough fabric to catch the wind, in a champagne that sits warm against the grey stone. His is dark, plain and sharp, so the gown is the only thing moving in the frame.
The second look went the other way. A picnic under a tree asks for ease, so both of them are in white, soft fabrics, and the colour comes from the grass and the blanket. The third is the lake at dusk, walking away from the camera, where the silhouette is all anyone sees. Three places, three moods, and the same two people in every frame, because the palette held.
